Parents/Guardians,
The term of our current Board of Management comes to an end on 31 July 2015. The Board of Management has 2 positions for parents of students enrolled in the school. If you are interested in serving as a Board Member you can call to the school to pick up a nomination paper and further information regarding the nomination process. For further information please see the Parents Council Section of this website.

A student variety show will take place on Thursday 7th at 7.30 in the school. Plenty of acts on display so come alone and meet the stars of the future.

Action Zambia.
It has come to our attention that donations are being sought from households in the greater Leixlip area in the name of Action Zambia. No such collect is being organised by the school and parents are advised to contact the Gardai if approached.

HSE Booster Injections.
HSE will return on 8th May for any 1st year students who were absent for booster injection.

Our school community has come through a difficult week. Parents and Guardians can be justifiably proud of the way their daughters and sons looked after each other. In a effort to ease the burden on our community classes will finish at 12.45 on Friday 17th April for all students. Please keep an eye on www.colaistechiarain.com for upcoming events and news.

Marguerite Kiely from Pieta House will address parents on Mental Health Awareness on Tuesday 21st April @ 8pm in the school. A number of volunteers from the Samaritan organisation will also be in attendance on the night.

Colaiste Chiarain will be closed for students on Monday 16th March to facilitate Teachers Continuos Professional Development.
